Mirrors and Framed Art
Use mirror boxes (telescoping boxes that adjust to size). Apply painter’s tape in an X across the glass — if it breaks, the tape holds shards together. Wrap in bubble wrap, then place in the box with corner protectors.
Electronics and TVs
Original boxes are always best. If you don’t have them, wrap screens in a soft blanket, then bubble wrap. Never lay flat-screens face-down. Transport upright.
China and Heirlooms
Wrap each piece individually. Use dish-pack boxes with cell dividers. Fill all empty space — items should not move when you shake the box.
When DIY Isn’t Worth the Risk
For high-value or irreplaceable items, professional packing pays for itself. Our team is trained, insured, and uses commercial-grade materials. One broken antique costs more than full-service packing.
